Timber frame houses

Three timber frame houses which I hope can easily be used for Lord of the rings, SAGA or BA games. They look like village houses of the Vikings era but also are proper for the time period of WWII. The good thing is that they are low cost scratch built terrain pieces. I used balsa wood, foam boards, a towel from IKEA, plaster, little rocks and MDF.

My wife cut the stripes from the towel.

I used plaster to cover the walls.

I painted the thatched roof brown, then highlighted it with desert yellow and finally with buff.

The first house is ready.

Second ready.

Third and last ready as well.

In the meanwhile, there are preparations around here for the forthcoming Feria. People are already gathering together in various clubs and organize little pre-Ferias to practice the famous "Sevillanas".

   Little Odo, welcome onboard!
That's it for today! Stay tuned for more!
