Aragorn (Fellowship of the Ring)

This is the Aragorn miniature from the "Fellowship of the Ring" boxed set. It is a very nice miniature which resembles the real actor. Of course, mine does not reach that level, no matter how hard I tried to give him this unshaved look. Anyway, below you can see the photos:

Elladan and Elrohir

Elladan and Elrohir were the elder twin brothers of Arwen. They were so similar that few could tell them apart. That is why I followed the same colour scheme for both of them. I painted their hair dark brown and their clothes purple and blue. I think, the final result is more or less ok. They look like real twins! In the new LotR SBG system you buy them as a pair. One is the Captain of the warband, while the other is one of his twelve followers. To my eye, the one who holds the large Elven blade with both hands, has to be the Captain. The eagle-eye-visitors may have noticed that the other one holds a shorter blade with his right hand. I gave him this weapon because the original one was broken and the blade was missed. I don't complain, I bought them half price for that!

By the way, I am happy to welcome MiniMike to our company.

Madril, Captain of Ithilien

Madril is a Ranger, who serves as Faramir's lieutenant, with many long years of experience of a profession in which few survive more than a handful of seasons! Despite his skills, he is fatally injured and is killed by Gothmog. Evil prevails sometimes!
The miniature is nice. I painted his clothes with dark tones of green and brown and I am happy with the final result. I am afraid, I will need some Rangers now to accompany him.

   András Szilvásy, welcome on board!

Aragorn (Helm's Deep)

If I am not wrong, there are twelve different GW miniatures of Aragorn. Two of them are mounted and the rest are on foot. I have only two, Aragorn from "Heroes of Helm's Deep" and Aragorn from "Fellowship of the Ring". Both are nice miniatures. Below you can see the first of the two:

Gondor (Medieval) Buildings

It's very nice to play Lord of the Ring SBG games with beautifully painted miniatures and to bring interesting stories to life, from books or films. And of course, to enjoy these games the most, you need attractive terrain pieces.  Below you can see some Gondor buildings which we use during our battles. Everything is made from foam boards, papers and balsa wood.

Cirion's boys! (Swordsmen and Spearmen)

All the Osgiliath Veterans are ready. I used the same colours, black, grey and ivory, for all of them, as I did for the archers. Below you can see the original GW Warriors of Minas Tirith miniatures next to the converted veterans. Wherever there is no such photo, the miniature is a GW Osgiliath Veteran.
